Chateau Beauval
In the tradition of his illustrious ancestors, the Alphand family has created, expanded, and embellished over the years the Bordeaux winery. Conjugating inventivness, ingenuity and love of work well done, it makes wines to enjoy with the soul of a wanderer in search of authenticity and harmony.
Our soil is certainly one of the richest and most envied of all. Located in southwestern France, the Bordeaux region is the largest and most prestigious of the world producing great wines.
The clay-limestone ground of our vineyards force every vine to go dig deep the secrets of all flavors.
South-facing slopes on sunny and sheltered hillsides, our vineyards are, for the production of red wine, a well balance between the Merlot ( 50%) who develops silky tannins, and the Cabernet Sauvignon (50%) which provides the structure and power tannic.
Spanning over 53 hectares, with plots sometimes older than 30 years, we devote 2 hectares to the production of our white wine, skilful blend of Sauvignon, Muscadelle and Semillon, in order to bring all the freshness and fruit.
