This wine shows what Petite Syrah can acheive. Wonderful blackberry and plum jam aromas. These are coupled with notes of licorice, minerals and sweet oak. On the palate, it is buoyant and fleshy, offering lots of stuffing and surprisingly soft tannins in the finish. Its grapey/blackberry flavors are bolstered by a touch of leather and spice cake.
